Why Astral?

What makes Astral Putters different?

Most putters force you to adapt your stroke to the club. Astral flips that model. Our putters are built to adapt to you. With over 60 different adjustable configurations, Astral helps you find the perfect balance of feel, feedback, and consistency—no compensations required. Whether you're fine-tuning your stroke or completely overhauling your setup, Astral gives you the tools to evolve.

How are Astral Putters different from other brands?

Not only are Astral Putters adjustable at the time of purchase, your Astral will remain adjustable for life. That means as your stroke changes, your putter can change with you—no need to buy a new one. Whether you're chasing a new trend or dialing in your feel for a tournament, your Astral is ready to adapt.

Can an Astral Putter actually improve my game?

Yes. We’ve designed every feature around performance and confidence. Our fitting process helps eliminate common miss tendencies, improve center-face contact, and reinforce a natural motion. The result? Fewer compensations, more consistent roll, and more confidence over every putt.

Why choose Astral over LAB or other competitors?

We admire LAB’s innovation, but we take a different approach when it comes to torque. LAB believes all torque is bad. We believe torque is a fitting variable—some players benefit from more, others from less. Our adjustable hosel system lets us tune that to your stroke, rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all solution.

Product Design & Technology

What materials are used in Astral Putters?

Our putters are CNC milled from 1018 carbon steel for a soft, responsive feel. We offer three face inserts:

  • Carbon steel – clean and crisp, best for lighter strokes
  • Brass – firm with clear feedback and a “ting” on contact
  • Copper – softest feel, offering a satisfying “thud”

Each insert has been engineered to provide uniform weight, regardless of material.

Why don’t you use stainless steel?

While stainless is corrosion-resistant, it’s also harsh-feeling. Our carbon steel offers better touch, feedback, and acoustic response—critical elements in building putting confidence.

Where are Astral Putters made?

We proudly assemble all putters by hand in Denver, Colorado. Most components are made in Wisconsin and Texas, and our hosel parts are produced through trusted international partners. All painting and final fit-and-finish work are done locally.

How are they manufactured?

Every component—except the shaft and grip—is CNC milled to aerospace-grade tolerances as tight as 0.0015 inches. This level of precision ensures that parts lock together securely and adjustments feel smooth and intuitive.

Are Astral Putters USGA-conforming?

Yes. Astral Putters conform with the rules of golf. They're 100% legal for tournament play.

Adjustability & Fitting

What is your adjustable hosel system, and how does it work?

Our patent-pending hosel system lets you adjust two key things:

  1. Toe hang (how the putter opens/closes during the stroke)
  2. Shaft offset (where the shaft sits relative to the face) By rotating the hosel or swapping among three different hosel sizes, you can dial in your directional bias, arc shape, and feel.

Each hosel offers 20 rotation positions—so that’s 60 possible combinations right out of the box.

How do I adjust lie angle?

We use interchangeable Lie Adapters, available in five angles: 66°, 68°, 70°, 72°, and 74°. Swapping is fast, simple, and doesn’t require bending like traditional clubs.

Can I adjust the loft?

Loft is fixed at 3°, but we fit for loft by adjusting what actually matters – dynamic loft . More shaft offset = more dynamic loft and more upward strike; less offset = less dynamic loft and downward strike. This gives you precise control over launch conditions without having to bend your brand new putter.

Is it easy to make adjustments?

Extremely. Every putter ships with a 3/32" hex tool and spare screws. If you can tighten a screw, you can adjust an Astral. Most golfers make changes in under a minute.

Will adjustments cause wear over time?

Each screw is pre-coated with a yellow nylon thread locker to help keep your putter secure. Over time, the thread locker gradually wears down with repeated use. During the fitting process, we recommend reusing the same screws as you experiment with different settings. Once you’ve found your ideal setup, replace them with a fresh set of screws to ensure long-term stability. For best results, we also suggest replacing all screws annually. Extra screws are included in your accessory kit and more are available upon request.

Can I mix and match parts?

Yes—heads, hosels, inserts, and lie adapters are all modular and interchangeable. You can even buy extra parts to experiment with multiple builds.

Choosing the Right Putter

How do I choose the right putter for me?

Start with what gives you confidence. Like the look of a blade? Go with that. From there, our fitting process will tailor the setup—lie angle, shaft offset, and toe hang—to match your natural motion. No compromise needed.

What if I’m not experienced or don’t know my stroke?

That’s perfectly fine. All you need is a willingness to try. We'll help you get started through our Fit Quiz, remote fitting options, or personal consultations. And since everything stays adjustable, you’re never locked into one choice.

Do you offer left-handed putters?

Yes! Every putter model is available in a left-handed version.

Can I adjust the putter even after I’ve been fit?

Absolutely. In fact, that’s the idea. Your putter remains fully adjustable for life, so you can make updates as your stroke evolves or as green conditions change.

Can I buy one even if I don’t plan to adjust it?

Yes. We can set up your Astral to match another putter you already like. You’ll still have the flexibility to experiment later if needed.

Face Inserts & Performance

Which face insert should I choose?
  • Copper – softest feel, ideal for fast greens
  • Brass – crisp, responsive, and versatile
  • Steel – firmest feel, great on slower greens or for players with soft strokes

Each insert is weight-balanced to maintain consistent feel across options.

Can I switch inserts based on green speed?

Yes. Many players like having a second insert to swap in depending on course conditions or personal preference that day.

Fitting Support Options

How do you support fittings?

We offer three ways to get fit:

  • In-person (Denver HQ)
  • Remote (via Teams or video analysis)
  • AI Fit Quiz (a quick online tool for self-guided fitting)

All putters include unlimited follow-up support, so we’ll work with you until the fit feels perfect.

How does the remote fitting work?

We’ll either analyze video of your stroke or hold a live session to understand your tendencies. From there, we’ll recommend settings—and help fine-tune over time.

What does the Fit Quiz evaluate?

Your stroke arc, feedback preferences (feel/sound), and general tendencies like push/pull. It’s a great starting point, especially for first-time putter buyers.

Is there a learning curve to using Astral?

No. Adjustments are simple and intuitive. You’ll get used to the system in minutes—and we provide tutorial videos to walk you through everything.
