Our Story

The Astral Putters Journey

The journey of Astral Putters began when Blake, a passionate golfer with an eye for craftsmanship, discovered a gap in the putter market while restoring vintage putters. What started as a hobby quickly revealed a fundamental limitation in traditional putter design – the inability to customize key performance elements.

Partnering with his father Charles, an engineer with decades of experience, Blake set out to create something revolutionary. Together, they developed an innovative adjustable putter system that allows golfers to fine-tune toe hang, shaft offset, and lie angle – elements previously fixed at manufacture.

After years of prototyping and rigorous testing with professional golfers, Astral Putters was born. Each putter is meticulously crafted using premium materials and precision engineering, representing the perfect blend of artistry and performance.

We believe that the perfect putter isn't mass-produced – it's precisely tuned to match each golfer's unique stroke. Our mission is to give golfers the ability to discover their optimal setup without compromise.

Blake Callaway

Founder & CEO

Blake is our founder and the man behind our revolutionary product designs. If Blake has one (or a few) things going for him, it’s the confidence to try new things, his entrepreneurial drive and spirit, and the stubbornness to refuse to quit. And that really is the story of the origins of Astral Putters™. It started with Blake being a lawyer by day, inventor by night, and golfer by weekend. Blake was disappointed with his putting game and even more disappointed to find that there was shockingly little ability to adapt putters to fit his desired specs … let alone actually experiment with and try alternative putter configurations. He knew there was a better way, and he’s spent every day since focused on bringing his new and unconventional ideas to life.

Jeremy Cost

CSO & Partner

Jeremy is our resident golf fanatic with a 20 year history of connecting people to innovative technology. When we were looking for someone with a high golf IQ, never ending passion for the sport and loads of experience with cutting edge technology, we knew Jeremy was our guy. Jeremy fell in love with the sport when he and his dad would take days off from farming to play their local course in North Dakota. Wanting his daughter to experience the same love, Jeremy started the first girls golf program at North High school in Denver, going on to win coach of the year at Denver Public Schools twice in three years. Jeremy loves the connections and opportunities that the game of golf creates and while he doesn't like to admit it, he understands the frustrations just as well. When Jeremy saw the gap in the industry that Astral Putters™ was filling, he couldn't wait to be a part of it.

Charles Callaway

Can Do Specialist

Charles is Blake’s father, and without Charles, there would be no Astral Putters™. Charles was the initial sounding board for Blake’s ideas, a devil’s advocate with a critical and demanding eye, and a key source of many of the solutions that were essential to transform grand ideas into a tangible product. Charles took on the daunting task of learning to CNC machine parts, and starting from zero experience advanced his skills to a place of building prototypes and production putters with tolerances down to 0.001”. Many, including Charles, doubted whether it was feasible to cover the amount of ground needed create parts of the level of sophistication needed. Yet when Blake asked, he always and only said “yes, we can try.”
